Jeffrey The Cunningman who could destabilise Umno and split the opposition: Lagadan, Linggu, Linggi

Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Vice-President Datuk Herbert Timbon Lagadan said Dr Jeffery Kitingan was a cunning politician and that he once joined Umno by using a lesser known name of 'Gapari'.

"Later, his ruse was uncovered when it was revealed that Gapari was in fact himself", said Lagadan.

STAR Sabah information chief Edward Linggu later revealed that Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan’s intention to join Umno a few years ago was part of a plot to destabilise Umno in the State.

Sabah Opposition Parties left out in Sabah PR Seat Negotiations

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah has appointed a three-man seat negotiation team for the party's strategy to continue the process of seat negotiations within Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Sabah coalition parties namely PAS and DAP.  

They are Ansari Abdullah as the team leader, Datuk Kong Hong Ming and Jonathan Yasin. 

Yong ordered to pay Harris RM1M

The High Court here yesterday ordered Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Yong Teck Lee and the party to pay Tan Sri Harris Salleh RM1 million in damages for defamation over statements made by Yong in relation to the plane crash which killed former chief minister Tun Fuad Stephens and 10 others on board a Nomad aircraft on June 6, 1976.

Do not simply pledge - Dr. M

 “Bai’ah means to pledging loyalty to a leader. As a mere mortal, a leader can do wrong….we found many PAS leaders did wrong in terms of religion,”  Former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad said.

He said a Muslim must submit to God and acknowledge Prophet Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah.

“There is no need for “bai’ah”... he (Hadi) is not even a prophet, so what is the bai’ah for?” Dr. Mahathir told reporters after delivering a lecture entitled “Mental Transformation for Young Researchers” hosted by Universiti Teknologi Mara’s Faculty of Applied Sciences Postgraduate Association here yesterday.

Sabah PKR daydream enough seats to capture Putrajaya

Sabah Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is optimistic that they will deliver seats enough to capture Putrajaya in the coming general election. 

Its Chairman, Ahmad Thamrin Jaini, said based on their analyses, assumptions, and developments on the ground, they are very optimistic that Keadilan will definitely deliver seats enough to capture Putrajaya.

No Attention To Quit Umno

"I would like to stress that I have never thought nor have any intention to quit Umno." Datuk Abdul Rahim Ismail.

The Pantai Manis Assemblyman said a report by online news provider, Sabahkini, that he is quitting Umno is negative propaganda aimed to defame him. 

He said it never crossed his mind to have any intention to quit the party as alleged by Sabahkini.
