Beware Of The 'Secede' Word

Secede means to withdraw formally from an alliance, federation, or association, as from a political union, etc. In Latin sēcēdere means to withdraw.

It is a heavy word to be accepted when it is put in Malaysian Agreement 1963 context but what if.. what if the word is simply said without thinking over its unimaginably disastrous consequence towards current political scenario especially in Sabah or Sarawak?

Maybe the attention is to bring forward the idea for everybody to beware of the future outcome i.e., that there could be a silent movement to bring Sabah or Sarawak out of Malaysia by spreading the idea softly through the free media?

For Sabah to pull out from Malaysia is something out of this world. One must know how to differentiate between 'local struggle for better livelihood' and 'evil struggle to destroy their future'. But this 'Supahiro' simply did something that might spark fire of hatred among each other that would certainly jeopardize nationhood harmony and unity. What ever the purpose it may be, just keep your 'pantatstic' idea to yourself!

You ask your reader to look at Singapore, and if Caesar said 'Veni' 'Vidi' 'Vici' which means I came.. I saw.. I Conquered.., for Singapore I said: I came.. I saw.. I'm blessed (for being Malaysian who stays in Sabah).. LOL.

A pity Singaporean think his country is a bad place to stay. He suggested his fellow Singaporean to leave the country for good if eventuality permits. Do you want to know what the Singaporean think of his country, you might want to read this.

T.I.B.A.I. - Tolak Individu Bernama Anwar Ibrahim

Dr. Jeffrey Is Trying To Neutralize DESAH?

Some concerned citizens have been reported formed an ad-hoc committee which operates under the name of ‘Demokrasi Sabah’ (DESAH) who serve in the committee on a voluntary basis to promote good democratic values such as representative government, clean, free and fair elections and the establishment of a 2-party system which is not based on racial and religious factors/grounds.

The objectives, targets, programs and the operational structure have been clearly and positively outlined. Here..

But what concerns the public at large was when STAR announced its support on DESAH's formation.

Its Chairman, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, in a statement here today said STAR also supported the formulae proposed by DESAH to identify which political party and possible candidates are most suitable to stand in which seats.

Mind boggling when Dr. Jeffrey added that true democracy is also about giving the people the right and freedom to choose in multi-party system, and not necessarily confined to two party system, or worse like in few dictator-ruled countries, only one very dominant party. Here..

One normal learned individual would certainly confuse on the support given to the new 'would be formed' Desah but contradict on the basic purpose of its formation.

What is the real motive of Dr Jeffrey this time? Is Dr. Jeffrey trying to swallow DESAH and neutralize the establishment? Or is he looking forward to be nominated as the Chairman of DESAH?

“Are you still in or out?” STAR asked SAPP

According to Joe Fernandez, Free Malaysia Today, The young Turks, a powerful lobby group within the State Reform Party (STAR), won the day when party chief Jeffrey Kitingan finally announced in Kota Kinabalu yesterday that he may go for all 60 state and 26 parliamentary seats in Sabah including Labuan at the forthcoming 13th general election.

The writer said, the young Turks have long been pushing for the party to go for broke on the grounds that the people must be given a democratic choice.

They are against “any form of pre-polls seat-sharing to circumvent the people’s will”, he said.

If the young Turks have now gained the upper hand in the party, the credit must largely go to SAPP which broke ranks in the UBA and unilaterally forged a seat-sharing pact over the weekend with Pakatan Rakyat, the Peninsular Malaysia-based national opposition alliance.

Anwar, adding insult to injury, let it be known in the media before he left town recently, that he’s open to offering some of Pakatan’s seats to an opposition party in Sabah.
It’s not known how the seats in Sabah will be shared between SAPP and Pakatan.
The only information available is what Sabah PKR chief, Thamrin Haji Jaini, has been reportedly whispering about in town, which is that SAPP will keep its present two parliamentary seats in Tawau and Sepanggar and field candidates in 35 of the 60 state seats. The rest will go to Pakatan.
Hence, Anwar sees no need for Jeffrey or his STAR in the political equation in Sabah.
The young Turks prevailed upon Jeffrey over the weekend to give SAPP a good piece of the party’s mind for literally stabbing STAR in the back.
Jeffrey agreed that they could draft a letter to SAPP which would be signed by a deputy chairman, Daniel John Jambun, a noted hawk in the party.

The STAR letter would asks SAPP for its “official position” on the sharing of seats with STAR and “if really necessary, with any other parties”.

In addition, STAR wants “an assurance” from SAPP of its continued membership in the UBA.

“Are you still in or out?” it asked SAPP

The answer seems to be obvious but STAR, for reasons best known to it, insists on flogging a dead horse.

DAP Is Sabotaging Pakatan Rakyat-SAPP Fragile Cooperation?

Member of Parliment for Tawau, Datuk Chua Soon Bui claims that Democratic Action Party (DAP) is trying to sabotage the attention of Sabah Progressive Party to cooperate with Pakatan Rakyat

Chua also questioned DAP national vice chairman Datuk Teng Chang Khim of his real agenda behind his recent accusation against SAPP that it was responsible for bringing in Umno to Sabah.

“It was widely reported in the local Chinese dailies that Teng had made such an accusation during his speech delivered in Tawau recently,” she said yesterday.

In an attempt to rebut the issue, Chua described Teng’s accusation as baseless and mischievous aimed at assassinating the character of SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee and herself.

“When Umno came to Sabah in 1990 after PBS left the BN coalition, SAPP was not even formed yet at that time. SAPP was only formed four years later in 1994 after Umno gained entry into Sabah. How could a non-existing party bring Umno into Sabah?” asked Chua who is also SAPP vice president.

Teng who is also Selangor Speaker, should first get his facts on Sabah politics right before making any baseless allegation against the SAPP president and herself, Chua said.

She said Teng should not have made such a wild accusation against SAPP leaders, especially given the fact that two of its current senior state leaders like its State chairman, Jimmy Wong, and its member of parliament for Kota Kinabalu, Hiew King Cheu, were both SAPP founding members, whom he could have easily consulted on the historical and political facts on Sabah.

“It is absolutely regrettable and unbelievable that such a highly-learned and respectable Speaker from a Pakatan Rakyat-ruled state could simply hurl wild accusation against a fellow opposition like SAPP. Or was he actually targeting at a certain senior Pakatan Rakyat leader, but lacked the guts to mount a direct confrontation?” she asked.

She said being such a senior and supposedly intelligent politician, Teng should not have much problem in getting his facts on Sabah politics right, unless he chose to be ignorant in order to achieve his hidden agenda that is probably best known only to himself.

Chua also reminded Teng that SAPP has been sincerely working on a “winning formula” with the PKR leaders to topple the Barisan Nasional (BN) government in the coming 13th general election.

“Our leaders, including our party president Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee, have even declared and reaffirmed our support for Pakatan Rakyat to capture Putrajaya, and supporting Datuk Seri Anwar as the Prime Minister of Malaysia,” she pointed out.

She was thus bewildered as to why despite a call for a ceasefire against SAPP made by DAP national advisor Lim Kit Siang in Kota Kinabalu last October, stressing that their common enemy is BN/Umno, and not SAPP, DAP leaders at national and state levels continued to attack SAPP and its leaders.

She noted that among those DAP leaders who had been relentlessly attacking SAPP and its leaders included its member of parliament for Cheras, Tan Kok Wai, its national publicity chief, Dr Hiew Kuan Yau aka Superman Professor, and its Sabah publicity chief, Chan Foong Khin.

“They are literally sabotaging SAPP’s fervent and sincere plan to forge cooperation with Pakatan Rakyat in the coming general election, and this is rather strange and suspicious. We just wonder what’s the real motive and agenda behind it?” she said.

BERSHIT 3.0: Don't Be The Tool For Another Hilarious Political Gambit

"At Bersih 2.0 in July last year, the organisers of Bersih and their die-hard supporters were quick to blame the Police for the death of a middle-aged man who collapsed and died while taking part in the demonstration. They claimed he died in a scuffle with our boys in blue. Post-mortem showed that Baharuddin Ahmad died of a heart attack.

"I don't remember Ambiga or any of her political sponsors assuming responsibility for the death on 9 July 2011. I do remember her declaring Bersih 2.0 a success, notwithstanding the death. Not even a year on, Baharuddin has been reduced to just a news filler.

"With Bersih 3.0, Ambiga and fellow organisers should act more responsibly. Start by making sure that all necessary precautions have been taken to cover the protesters (not themselves and their political masters) in the unlikely event of another death".. Rocky's Bru

STAR Ensures Borneo Agenda By Contesting In All Seats

Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said STAR may contest in all 60 State Assembly seats and 25 Parliamentary seats in Sabah.

If it materialises, effectively jeopardises any hope of Pakatan Rakyat forging an understanding with Sabah-based Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) to ensure a straight fight between the Barisan Nasional and opposition in the coming general election.

Dr Jeffrey also said by contesting in all seats, it will be a referendum to seek views of Sabahans whether they continued to want to be "colonised" and "hegemonised" by outsiders or they want to take charge of their own fate and determine the future of Sabah and its people.

"Let this be a referendum..." he said.

Dr Jeffrey also said that while Star respects cooperation with any political party, it will not sell its soul or compromise its Borneo Agenda.

"Personal agenda is not our agenda. Our agenda is the Borneo Agenda," he added.

Dr Jeffrey said this after a briefing by the State Election Commission on new election rules to Star and protem Usno leaders at the EC's office at the Federal Secretariat in Likas.

Star was represented by about 20 of its senior leaders led by Dr Jeffrey himself while the Sabah EC officials by its State Director Datuk Idrus Ismail, while Usno was led by protem Deputy President Abdullah Sani Salleh.

Others in the entourage were Star Deputy Chairman, Dr Nicholas James Guntobon, Secretary Guandee Kohoi, Jalumin Bayogoh, Rubbin Guribah, Edward Linggu, Melanie Annol, Hasmin Azroy Abdullah, Jalibin Paidi, Martin Tommy, Maklin Masiau, and Usno leaders Datu Arifin Datu Abdul Salam, Abdillah Timbasal and two other division heads.

Which political party does Ambiga represent?

Take a quick look at the photograph of the poster representing Pakatan leaders, ie PKR, DAP and PAS.

Stumped? Yep. Many were shocked by the naked political ambitions of Ambiga as pictured by the billboard. I was told that this poster, pasted on billboards around Selangor, has been ordered to be brought down after the Pakatan chaps realized that they had unnecessarily exposed Ambiga ...  RockyBru

Najib, Leave Amiga And Her Pakatan Bosses To Their Own Demise

Amigo Sreenavasan has threatened the government with another sequel, she called "Bersih 3". A showdown at Padang Merdeka on 28th April if electoral reforms are not executed before the 13th GE she said.

This lady lawyer is doing the oppositions' bidding.Without Pakatan's leaders full backing she won't be able to get a bus-load of mules onto the streets of Kuala Lumpur?

This bunch of Pakatan's political eunuches using her, overestimated their popularity and boasted they would have won the last GE if there were no massive cheatings by BN.Sounds more like one big lie and a case of sour grapes.

If you are so sure of your popularity why do you need to stage mass demonstrations every now and then? If the people love you so much, no amount of money and cheating can change their minds.

We, Sabahans know this, if we really want a change we'll take the incumbent's money and vote the other side.We have done it a few times before.

Harris Salleh is a living testimony and a victim of the power of the people. The most powerful BN leader in Sabah at that time, he and his party was trashed by a new born party led by Joseph Pairin Kitingan, winning only 6 seats out of 48 they contested.Harris lost his seat in Tenom to an unknown giant killer.

With all the power, the money and the cheating how come Harris faltered so badly?

Amiga, I am afraid you are not a very bright lawyer because you lack the power of reasoning.

I am sure there have been isolated cases of cheating in the Malaysian polls.Even in the largest democracy where her forefathers came from there have been cases of cheating and worst, murders. Not that we should condone such appalling behaviour but to say there have always been wholesale cheating by the BN government is stretching one's imagination too far.

Anyone with the head properly screwed onto the shoulder can see how so bloody disorganised the BN have been when it comes to cheating at the polls. They are so amateurish in their cheating they almost lost the government in the 12th GE.

If not for Sabah and Sarawak they would have been a reversal of fortune, the BN would have become the opposition and Pakatan Rakyat the government.

It's obvious that the people are still not ready for a Malaysian Spring that Anwar Ibrahim so much wanted to happen.Anwar knew that's the only way he can be prime minister.

So! Amiga, where are the proofs of massive cheating other than you living in a state of denial and trying to cheat yourself and the people?

Lest you forget, over the many decades that the BN was in power they have also lost seats to independent candidates.Mind you! these small fries can win against the mighty BN.

Obviously, you prefer to serve your political masters rather than serve the truth.

More shameful, you use that poor old near senile national laureate Pak Samad to lead the procession. This old bugger did not realise he is being used by you and your puppetmasters to try lend credence to your monkey business.
My advice to that very blur Minister of Home Affairs, let it be, let them loose on the streets, let them have their say.

One hundred thousands stupid mules in KL do not represent the political sentiments of the people of this nation.
